Blast

I'd scarcely count my last post as anything but pure drivel. I have half a mind to take it off.

I don't really have much to say. No news, no stories, no will, no heart, no thoughts. I feel pretty much like an empty shell, to be perfectly honest, but not really in a bad way. I'm waiting for something to fill me up, and just too damn lazy to go looking for it.

In general, I'm just too damn lazy. In my social life, I stick to my tried-and-true high school friends, and although I'm friendlier than I was I'm comfortable enough here - so why should I try new things? In my classes, I slack as I always have and always will, and don't care nearly enough - no matter how important good grades are this year. I can get by; I always have, after all. In my spiritual life...heh. I tried at the beginning of the year. I tried with everything.

Here I am then, in the same groove I've always had. It's just too easy, and too much effort to try to leave it. Even in acknowledging this I feel little need to change. How is it that I even deserve life, if this is how I spend it? It IS a gift, and I've wasted it. I am wasting it even as I type this. God, I owe so much more than this to myself, to life, to the world, to You.

God, I'm a mess. Damn.

I haven’t had one yet, unless you count kindergarten. In which case, with my “boyfriend” Hunter under the jungle gym.

Only TP-ed a tent.

4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?
I have hit many people of the opposite sex – with books, hands, and other blunt objects.

5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people?
Yup.

6. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?
Faces, I guess.

7. What really turns you on?
Certain musical numbers – that’s all I can think of at the moment.

8. What do you order at Starbucks?
Chai Frappuccino Blended Crème.

9. What was your biggest mistake?
Good Lord, let’s say everything I did in grade school?

10. Ever hurt yourself on purpose?
Well, I did get my eyelids tattooed… Beauty is pain.

I have gotten a hicky, but never been kissed.

12. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
Someone said I looked like some English actor once. (Actor. Not actress. I am ashamed.)

13. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?
I just saw an episode of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends! It kicked butt.

Yesh.

15. Are you comfortable with your height?
Most of the time, unless I start thinking a short guy is cute. Then I curse my 5ft10 frame with much gnashing of teeth.

16. What is the most romantic thing someone of the opposite sex has done for you?
My boyfriend of 5 years let me beat him up. And by 5 years I mean 5 years OLD. In kindergarten. Sad, no?

I haven’t the foggiest.

18. Do you speak any other languages?
I’m learning German! It too kicks butt!

19. Have you ever been to a tanning salon?
Yeah right! I don’t want cancer again, thankyouverymuch.

Haven’t read any, recently.

Yes, in High School once.

22. Has anyone you were really close with passed away?
Apparently one of my best friends during my time at the hospital died while I was there, but I don’t actually remember him. I was only three.

Um, NO.

24. What's something that really annoys you?
Bad grammar. It makes me want to kill people.

25. What's something you really like?
Ender’s Game, at the moment. Jump on the bandwagon, folks! Like many other things, it kicks butt.

Eh… don’t care.

27. Can you dance?
Yup! Thanks to RK and some club nights!

28. What's the latest you have ever stayed up?
All night watching Scrubs with Widge.

29. Have you ever thought that you were honestly going to die?
No, not even when I had cancer – I was too young to think about that.

30. Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room?
Yep. I had a seizure due to high temperature. See above statement as to why.

31. Do you actually read these when other people fill them out?
Yup! How else am I going to get dirt on people?
